**The Company**
Our client is a national civil engineering and environmental services provider. They are looking for an Operations Manager for SA and VIC to be based in Adelaide.

**The Position**
This a great opportunity for a professional to join a dynamic engineering team in Adelaide. We're in search of an Operations Manager for our client's South Australia and Victorian operations. With about 150 employees spread across offices throughout Australia, our client is a thriving company seeking a driven and ambitious leader.

This position involves working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and reporting directly to the CEO. Being a dynamic professional and continuously open to learn and develop are crucial traits for success in this role.

**The Role**
**The key responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Leading operational performance in SA & Victoria
- Supervising project delivery
- Establishing a robust local delivery team (including succession planning for key positions)
- Providing leadership and guidance to senior staff in Adelaide, Mildura, and Mount Gambier
- Overseeing and managing financial performance at project and operational levels
- Collaborating with the CFO
- Working to enhance team capabilities
- Ensuring appropriate risk management practices with the General Counsel
- Coordinating with the Clients and Growth Lead to foster business development
- Managing project and operational risks and disputes
- Promoting technical excellence development
- Maintaining effective communication
- Managing Operational Change
- Collaborating with Operations Managers in Queensland and New South Wales to bolster project delivery, facilitate strategic growth, and foster national collaboration
- Identifying, planning, and overseeing operational business improvements in coordination with the CEO and other senior staff
- Engineering education background and qualifications
- Experience in project delivery and leadership positions
- Strong communication abilities
