**The role**
Reporting into the General Manager, Brand & Marketing, the Corporate Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the strategic communications plan and coordinate internal and external communication initiatives. You will work closely with business units to support their targeted marketing and communication activities and partner with key stakeholders to deliver national marketing campaigns, increase engagement and build a positive brand.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and maintain an annual Marketing and Communications Plan to support the company’s strategic and tactical communication initiatives and campaigns.
- Lead and manage external communications for CDC, ensuring communications are fit for purpose and are aligned with the communications strategy of relevant stakeholders.
- Plan and manage a variety of external communications materials including media releases, corporate brochures, speeches, corporate videos, and any other related materials.
- Establish and manage the internal communications strategy and platform for National office.
- Maintain and develop links with relevant media outlets to facilitate communication and ensure fair and accurate coverage of company and industry activities.
- Acts as corporate spokesperson as required and respond to media enquiries in consultation with the General Manager, Brand & Marketing and CEO in a timely manner.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Significant Communications experience with a successful track record Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or any related field.
- Digital marketing experience will be highly regarded.
- Highly developed strategic communications and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Superior ability to tailor communications to the target audience.
- Ability to provide sound media relations advice.
- Exceptional attention to detail, as well as organisational, time management and planning skills
- A team player with the ability to build rapport.
- Well-developed computer literacy including proficiency in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
