**ABOUT THE ROLE**

An exciting opportunity has become available for a **HR Admin / Payroll Officer** to join their value-driven team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparation and processing of fortnightly payroll
- Import timesheets and approvals
- Calculation of all leave / deductions / tax / superannuation
- Leave reconciliation
- Determine payroll liabilities
- Resolve payroll queries
- Set up new employee files
- Interpretation of enterprise agreements, modern awards, employment contracts and other legislations
- Other ad-hoc duties

**ABOUT YOU**

They are looking for a highly motivated and organised HR Admin / Payroll Officer. You will work well both independently and as part of a team and will manage your time well to respond to competing demands.
- A thorough understanding of current HR/ER legislation
- Previous experience with Elmo would be advantageous
- Relevant university or TAFE qualifications
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

You will also need to be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and drug test.
