The Coordinator Child Family Health and Wellbeing overseas and coordinates all aspects of the Child Family Heath and Wellbeing portfolio in accordance with the appropriate legislative requirements, professional standards and funding and service agreements.

This portfolio includes the service areas of:

- Maternal and Child Health
- Community and Supported Playgroups
- Preschool Field Officer program

As a member of the Family and Children’s Services Departments senior leadership team this role is also expected to lead and implement department programs and initiatives

- Demonstrated emotional intelligence, sound judgment and the ability to influence and deliver change management across a range of portfolios;
- The ability to build collaboration and partnerships across diverse ranges of services and organisations;
- A specialist knowledge of the early years’ service system with demonstrated experience in the leadership and delivery of MCH programs and/or Early Years support programs using evidence-based and integrated service delivery principles within applicable legislative, policy, funding and service requirements;
- Ability to design and lead operational projects on time and to high standards;
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce high quality reports and deliver professional presentations for various audiences.
