**What You Will Be Doing**

The Frankston Hospital Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physiotherapy (PT) departments provide service to inpatients and outpatients, with a team of approximately 40 therapists and assistants.

The Allied Health Receptionist provides reception and administrative support to the Frankston Hospital OT and PT team, facilitates effective communication between the staff and consumers and provides a positive profile for the teams. The Reception staff ensure effective functioning of the reception and assist the therapists in all administrative aspects of the area as required, including liaison with other departments as required.

**What You Need**
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. Able to liaise with consumers, carers, family members, the general community, other agencies and professionals.
- Experience using patient information systems such as Electronic Health Records and iPM and learn new programs as required.
- Experience in a busy, fast-paced reception or ward environment.
- Ability to work as an effective member of a team.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and an ability to prioritise work.
- Able identify and propose practical solutions to problems.
- Constructively communicate concerns and issues.
- Capacity to work independently with general supervision

**Additional Requirements**
- Please refer to salary circular for HEALTH AND ALLIED SERVICES, MANAGERS AND ADMINISTRATIVE WORKERS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021-2025 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
