**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to support Thales Australia's Air Mobility Solutions (AMS) business line based in Melbourne. This role reports into the HR Director and will partner with our business leaders to continually develop our people, culture and business capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive organisational capability by developing annual capability build plans, addressing talent gaps, diversity, and productivity.
- Manage operational matters e.g. PIPs and investigations
- Coach and develop people leaders to enhance talent quality, diversity, and bench strength within their teams.
- Identify key roles for competitive advantage for the business and develop core people strategies to increase impact.
- Ensure effective performance management aligned with business objectives.

**Key Knowledge and Experience** to excel in this role, you should be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and experience:

- Strong negotiation, mediation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable with working at the strategic and operational space to support the development of the business strategy and implementation
- Experience across a broad generalist HR remit, focusing on business change, leadership development, and employee engagement
- Good understanding in employee relations, including conducting investigations and managing cases
- A trusted partner with influential skills and a track record of delivering excellent results
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, coupled with adaptability in a dynamic environment
