**Procurement Coordinator, Create NSW**
- Exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join Create NSW within the Department of Enterprise Investment & Trade, based in Sydney
- Clerk Grade 7/8 with starting salary of $101,947 per annum
- Temporary role up to 31 March 2024
**About the Role**
Part of the Department of Enterprise, Industry and Trade cluster, Create NSW focusses specifically on achieving the NSW Government’s priority of fostering excellence in arts, screen and culture in NSW. We work collaboratively with artists and arts workers, the arts and cultural sector and our partners within government to provide a range of support services including management of grants of varying scales to recipient government and non-government organisations; overseeing more than $2.5b in cultural infrastructure projects to create the spaces where arts can flourish; and managing a portfolio of arts and heritage properties predominantly leased to cultural organisations.

As Procurement Coordinator, you will provide procurement planning, sourcing and management expertise to project teams that support the delivery of cultural infrastructure and other projects across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of arts and culture in NSW.
In this role you will:
- Provide a range of procurement support services that enable project outcomes to be achieved on time, on budget and compliant with the NSW Procurement Policy Framework
- Implement best practice procurement principles that ensure value for money and compliance with relevant policies and legislation are achieved and that quality probity and transparency standards are adhered to
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of standardised tools, templates and processes and their roll out across the organisation
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain positive relationships with project teams and relevant stakeholders
**About You**
You can deliver on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment where there may be conflicting interests and views from a range of stakeholders. Your strong procurement background will contribute to informed decision making and recommendations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role. You will be working closely with project teams providing training, guidance and support so your excellent interpersonal skills will be critical to maintaining positive and productive relationships.
You will have the ability to work flexibly across projects and teams and provide guidance to junior team members.
You must have experience completing procurements for capital infrastructure projects, including procurement planning and tender solicitation documents, managing the solicitation process, and contract management. Experience coordinating contract documents will be an advantage.
