**About the Role**
Joining our well-established Central Compliance team, the Compliance Partner - Privacy and Consumer Data Rights will play a key role in promoting a positive compliance culture and ensure policy and processes are implemented and maintained in line with requirements. Reporting to the Head of Central Compliance, you will be responsible for providing insights and advice to a number of the BOQ Group’s internal stakeholders, enterprise wide.

A key focus of this role will be maintaining key privacy related policies. We will rely on your SME knowledge to provide accurate advice to the business on privacy related policies. The Central Compliance function also requires strong documentation pertaining to our privacy related policies and matters; therefore, we’ll rely on your ability to maintain this documentation at a high level.

We’ll expect you as the SME to contribute to the creation and implementation of new polices and procedures and from that develop new training material once that new policy or procedure has been implemented. Finally, being part of our Central Compliance function will mean you’ll undertake reviews on business related activity /outcomes to confirm compliance obligations have been met.

**About you**
We are looking for an individual with strong regulatory skills and deep experience in the laws and regulations within Banking and Finance. You'll have the ability to meet tight deadlines and be a problem solver, with a positive and proactive approach centred around achieving the Compliance function's Purpose and Ways of Working.

We would ideally like to appoint someone with a legal background although this not essential. Compliance knowledge within banking and financial services will be required to be successful for this role.
