Land Aquisition Manager

Brunel is working closely with a well established renewable energy developer currently going through a growth phase who are seeking a land aquisition manager to join its team in either Melbourne or Brisbane. Over the last 10 years the client has developed multiple utility scale solar farms which they have seen through to operation and sale.

**About this role**
Reporting to the senior project development manager the land aquisition manager will be responsble for engaging directly with land holders and negotiating agreements for renewable energy projects. Work collaboratively with the project development team to identify suitable sites and complete due diligence to successfully secure land through leasing or purchasing agreements.

Previous experince in land aquisition within the renewables industry will be highly desireable and a strong understanding of land tenure and legislation accross Australia will be imortant for the role.

**About you**
- Bachelor's degree in law or relevant area.
- 3-5+ years in land access and aquisition prefferably in renewable energy.
- Experience negotiating directly with land holders a must.
- Understanding of Australian land tenur and legislation.
- Project management and GIS experience essential.
