Manager (Indigenous Land Operations)

Operating from within Native Title and Indigenous Land Services, you will be involved in operational activities relating to the Aboriginal Land Act 1991 (ALA), the Torres Strait Islander Land Act 1991 (TSILA), the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Land Holding Act 2013 (LHA) and the Land Act 1994 and Aboriginal and deliver key projects for the issue of deeds for transfer under the ALA & TSILA and a project for resolution of outstanding LHA lease entitlements.There are no mandatory requirements for this role however, the role would suit applicants with management and leadership skills, communication skills and familiarity with leading land related programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and an an understanding of native title legislation.
Travel away from the centre may be required. This may involve travel outside of normal office hours and/or overnight accommodation for extended periods.Applications to remain current for 12 months.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
