Our customers, we call them Angels, support talented and independent winemakers across Australia and the world, in return for access to exclusive hand-crafted wines at amazing prices. Our unique model solves the biggest challenges for some of Australia’s (and the world’s) most talented winemakers who want to go it on their own, providing them with upfront funding as well as distribution and direct connection to customers. Because we fund our winemakers upfront, Naked Wines can remove a huge chunk of the costs that would usually be passed back to the customer.

Globally, Naked Wines gives a fast growing army of over 900,000 passionate everyday wine-drinking Angels direct access to over 250 of the world’s best independent winemakers making over 1,000 exclusive quality wines in 17 different countries which makes us a leading player in the fast-growing direct-to-consumer wine market.

In Australia, we currently have over 120,000 Angels supporting 67 winemakers from Australia and New Zealand to create over 350 exclusive wines for them.

Key Responsibilities
- Recruit the loyal Angels that will fund our talented winemakers for years to come
- Build a pipeline of new and exciting partners that will deliver new customers to the business - start the conversations (prospect, pitch, and negotiate) and drive them through to completion (closing and implementation)
- Nurture our existing partner relationships to drive more value out of them, achieving more and better quality angels every year

**Requirements**:
Skills & Qualifications
- Proactive and enthusiastic - self-motivated and a self-starter, bucketfuls of energy, and able to manage your own time
- The gift of the gab - you will love building relationships, talking to new people, and objection-handling
- Super-human organization - you'll be responsible for hundreds of partners at different deal stages and will need to juggle their needs and an acquisition budget
- Analytical - you’ll be comfortable with numbers and the full Microsoft suite, be able to analyze past deals and act to optimize them
- Entrepreneurial and creative - seeking out the perfect new partners to work with isn’t always easy - you might need to look in some unexpected places to find them

You are comfortable:

- Leveraging your hunter mindset to find new opportunities
- Using a variety of techniques to find and make contact with the right person at each prospective company
- Closing: negotiating final deal specifics and contracting
- Reviewing analytics and data to ensure deals translate into investment payback
- Working across the business to successfully deliver the deals you land

You have:

- A proven track record in business development, B2B, SAAS, or phone sales
- Self-starter mentality; excited by a growth environment and willing to get stuck in
- Highly organised; Strong work ethic
- Confidence and resilience - being comfortable turning “no” into “yes” through a creativity and solutions-focused mindset.
- Confidence speaking with C-level executives

We will especially love you if you have:

- Experience building new channels / new routes to customer acquisition
- Knowledge, experience, and contacts in the retail or insert media space
- Interest in joining wine-time each Wednesday to sip & learn - no wine experience necessary
