**The role**

In its 185th year, David Jones is undertaking a dynamic organisational wide transformation as part of its new Australian ownership structure. As part of delivering our ambitious Vision2025+ strategy, the Talent Acquisition Partner will have a significant strategic role to play in building future talent capabilities for David Jones.

Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition you will partner and coach leaders across a variety of functions such as People & Culture, Technology, Digital, Marketing, Loyalty and Insights. As the SME, you will inform the talent strategy for these areas based on internal and external market trends with a focus on identifying, engaging and attracting external talent that aligns to our cultural foundations.

As a strategic business partner, you will have involvement in talent projects and initiatives in line with our People Experience strategy including identifying process efficiencies, employer branding and development of hiring manager recruitment tools.

Based in Melbourne with a hybrid mix of time in the office and from home, this role will suit a highly commercial, driven, adaptable and solution orientated TA professional looking to take the next step in their career.

**Key responsibilities will include;**
- Partner with business leads on their recruitment needs and provide solutions to identify inspired talent
- Identify strategies considering appropriate group D&I initiatives
- Identify efficient ways of working to improve the recruitment process and ensure quality results for each assignment
- Work with cross functional teams on P&C and business wide projects
- Demonstrated experience across talent attraction space within dynamic environments
- Proven success delivering end to end recruitment, attraction strategy and employer branding techniques and initiatives
- Experience utilising HRIS, ATS/AMS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
- High level interpersonal and communications skills
- Capability to influence internal and external stakeholders to drive meaningful outcomes
- Experience in developing proactive talent pools in core and critical areas
- A growth mindset that demonstrates a commitment to continuous innovation
- A desire to work across broad talent projects and provide outstanding recruitment experiences
