An exciting opportunity for a Specialist has become available to join the Business Transition team within the National IT department of ALDI stores, based in Prestons NSW. **This position is a fixed-term contract until 30 May 2025.**

As a Data Specialist you will be responsible for ongoing monitoring and analysis of the new business processes within the SAP Centric Software landscape across all departments. You will support the creation of visual representation of key data logs within the Celonis system with a focus on process utilisation and improvement. Working both proactively and as per business requirements you will identify opportunities to drive performance and automation across the entire business.

**What does the role look like?**
- Coordinate meetings with key stakeholders from multiple departments to identify, facilitate and align on cross functional demands
- Drive the collection cleansing, merging and management of data from various sources across the business and oversee the automation and documentation of tasks
- Drive continuous improvements of the SAP systems, development practice and processes that support scalability and optimise supportability
- Accurate documentation of how data represents process execution to support technical and business comprehension.
- Design and develop end-to-end optimised data pipelines and data transformation
- Close collaboration and alignment with process experts from all business areas

**Qualifications** What do we need from you?**
- Proven experience as a Data Specialist with a focus on SAP Retail, preferably SAP S/4 HANA
- Demonstrated commercial experience and knowledge in Tableau, Power Bi or Alteryx Designer or
- Ability to identify, prepare, analyse and present data
- Highly developed skills in data analysis and modelling
- Demonstrated high level of numeracy and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and business users
- Demonstrated experience in creating and managing workflows is highly regarded
- Exposure to business transformation projects advantageous
