Job Summary

As a Design Associate, you play a pivotal role in transforming the way marketing campaigns are delivered to market. Using your conceptual and visual design expertise, you bring creative concepts to life, establishing tone, character, and messaging that will effectively communicate with target audiences and fulfil the marketing objectives. You will be hands-on, charged with completing primarily off-line design projects that are key to Telstra’s long-term growth. You demonstrate strong proactivity and passion, always seeking new ways to make your work the best it can be.

Make a Difference

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, Your focus will be using Salesforce Marketing Cloud to configure and launch integrated, best-in-class journeys. You’ll work collaboratively within your Marketing Mission (in our Agile-at-scale structure) and deliver great work that meets our objectives and delivers our key results.

Key Responsibilities
- Be passionate and always informed when it comes to SFMC, you will develop knowledge and experience and you prioritise formal and informal training and self-learning to continue to build your skills and grow your career
- Assist in providing insights and development of the most efficient operational processes for the programming of SFMC journeys, enabling you and your peers to deliver the most effective campaigns quickly and simply
- Ensure appropriate testing and quality assurance processes are followed for all journeys, and support your fellow programmers with peer reviews
- Identify opportunities for incremental improvements and solutions to existing processes and systems within SFMC
- Participate and embrace Agile ways of working, mindsets and practices to support measurable improvements to effectiveness and productivity
- Support other Marketing Automation Specialists in writing SQL queries and building customer journeys

About you

To be successful in the role, you'll bring skills and experience in:

- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud for building and executing customer communications journeys
- Use of SQL coding and Amp Scripting in the Marketing Cloud environment
- Highly collaborative approach to working with stakeholders and a willingness to partner with others to achieve cross-functional outcomes
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, IT, Engineering or a related discipline
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications or a related discipline
- Experience as Consultant, Developer and Administrator
- SQL knowledge
- Data Management experience
