We're on the hunt for a CSSD Team Leader to join our client's team in New Lambton Heights, NSW. As a leader in this role, you'll get to steer a team of dedicated Sterilization Technicians towards delivering the highest quality service to our patients. It's time to scrub up and get ready to lead

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Leading the CSSD team like a boss
- Ensuring hospital-wide sterilization services are delivered to the highest quality
- Cleaning, washing, packing, wrapping and sterilising of reusable instruments, equipment and consumables used in operating theatre and clinical areas
- Performing, interpreting, documenting and overseeing mechanical, chemical and biological quality assurance tests on instrument washers and sterilisers to ensure that they are performing to set standards (AS/NZS4187)
- Collaborating with other departments to make our patients feel like royalty

**About the company**
Our client is a 189 bed, acute, private hospital facility. The hospital has 11 theatres including a hybrid theatre and a 15 bed Intensive Care Unit. It also has a cardiac suite including a cardiac catheter laboratory and a 16 bed Coronary Care Unit. A private maternity suite including 6 birthing suites and a special care baby nursery is available for families in the region.

**You are someone who’ll**:

- Certificate III in Sterilisation essential
- Sound knowledge of AS/NZ 4187 2014
- Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation
- Experience with tracking systems
- Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate computer literacy skills - including MS office and various data bases
- An interest in promoting best practice patient care
- A focus on professional development

**Desired Criteria**
- 5 years’ experience working in a hospital CSSD
- Certificate IV in Sterilisation
