**About the company**:
You will be working for a Local Government authority in the inner western suburbs. This is a great opportunity to work with an excellent council giving you the chance to broaden your local government experience and knowledge. The organisation take pride in looking after their staff’s well-being.

This role is initially contracted until the end of June 2023 but could lead to further opportunities. This is a full-time role, and you will be working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 4.30pm.

You will be reporting into the Senior Consultant, Organisational Development and Learning. This role provides full administrative support to the Organisational Development and Learning (OD&L) team. The primary focus is to support pre, during and post organisation-wide OD&L programs and interventions.

**Your key responsibilities include**:

- Provide positive, customer-focused service as the first point of contact for the OD&L function.
- Develop and maintain relevant databases such as details of facilitators and providers, program feedback, OD&L costs and other similar administrative tasks.
- Provide efficient administrative and logístical support to the OD&L team and ensure all program arrangements are in place including invitations, catering, facilities, resources and equipment.
- Support new employee on-boarding and induction through engagement, coordination and administration of mandatory courses
- Collaborate with the P&P team and participate in other initiatives, tasks and events such as outreach activities with registered training organisations (RTOs) staff awards, learning and staff engagement events.

**You will have the following**:

- Knowledge and experience in the use of learning related platforms is highly regarded but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience in in using MS Office suite, particularly creating and formatting documents in MS Word, Power Points and MS Excel
- Ability to positively and effectively interact with various teams and resolve problems to improve customer, stakeholder and team experiences and engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and perform on the key accountabilities of the role and an interest of working in the Organisational Development and Learning area.
