**About the opportunity**

**3 Month Fixed Term Role**

This 3 month role at Australia Post This position provides full and complete administrative support to the Category Team. Reporting to the Category Manager the Category Administrator is responsible for delivering category support, management of all master data, supplier submissions and templates, order management, samples management and supporting promotional activities for the Category Team.

**You'll be responsible for**:

- Administers the team’s ‘day to day’ activities

**Specific Accountabilities**:

- Coordinate the management of supplier submissions and supplier samples
- Management of all relevant master data for the category team
- Coordinate and facilitate the setup of new products for our web store
- Co-ordinate day to day category activities.
- Prepare detailed Category and vendor reports
- Action Category SAP changes including price changes, new product additions and product updates as required.
- Liaise with variety of stakeholders on an ongoing basis including suppliers, supply chain, marketing, retail operations and others as required
- Maintain the Product Family Tree Hierarchy
- Provide Supply chain with product dimensional and quantity data for input
- Liaise with Supply Chain, Post Logistics and other internal teams regarding stock distribution.
- Administer Category documents, CTAs, New lines, NSMF, Promotional funds, etc.
- Follow up on ad hoc inquiries and resolution of issues as required
- Catalogue, ticketing and promotional content review and provision of feedback to the marketing team and others.

**About you**

You are an organised and detailed administration professional., with excellent problem solving, analytical skills and time management. You will also have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skill. Be highly organised with proven ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks and requests in order to meet tight deadlines. Demonstrated ability to build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships and partnerships.

**What are we looking for?**
- High level computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Marketing and/or visual merchandising experience would be advantageous
- Experience working as part of a team and at times with little or no supervision
- Working experience with SAP
- Category and Retail market knowledge
- High level of attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and process improvement skills.
- Category knowledge would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Australia Post retail store and Licensed Post Office environments and processes
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or similar field highly desirable.
