The opportunity
Brand new opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Payments Solution Specialist, supporting Elders Insurance. We're seeking a dedicated professional to oversee credit control and instalment billing operations. As a Payment Solutions Specialist, you'll play a key part in achieving business targets and strategic objectives. Reporting to the Payment Solutions Operations Manager, you'll be an integral part of our AUSPAC Finance division.
Your new role
Key responsibilities of the Payment Solutions Specialist will include:
- Collaborating with various stakeholders, including Underwriters, Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, Partners, Agents, and our overseas Global Shared Services Centre- Ensuring timely collection of premiums as per credit terms- Communicating with agents and facilitating referrals to external debt collectors when necessary- Overseeing tasks and providing assistance to offshore teams- Handling phone inquiries, addressing customer calls, and processing payments over the phone- Coordinating with liquidators as needed
About you
To be successful as a Payment Solutions Specialist you will have recent experience in a Collections or Credit Control role and will be looking for an opportunity to grow and develop your career. You will also have:
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills with both internal and external parties- Prior experience working with brokers or partners will be an advantage- Exposure to the insurance industry or a financial services background will be an advantage- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal- A keen interest in numbers, spreadsheets, and payment solutions
