**Job Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Studio Automation Coordinator to join the Broadcast Operations team in our state-of-the-art television facility in North Sydney.

You will be working a varied 7-day roster across Pilot, Co-Pilot & Floor Technician roles using studio automation to produce live and pre-recorded content for some of Nine’s biggest brands, including Nine News, A Current Affair and Stan Sport.

Using Viz Mosart studio automation software, you will operate various broadcast systems and equipment such as vision switchers, robotic cameras, graphic engines and audio desks which come together to deliver high-quality content to our viewers across multiple platforms.

You will be required to:

- Coordination of all on-air elements of the show using the Mosart GUI and various peripherals to ensure that live broadcasts and pre-records run smoothly
- Clearly and effectively communicate with various internal and external stakeholders, such as NPC, studio hosts and reporters on location
- Collaborate with other editorial, technical and operational teams
- Ability to adapt to live and ad hoc requirements of the shows such as breaking news or rolling coverage
- Consistently and accurately monitor rundowns in ENPS and the Mosart GUI to spot problems in advance and provide feedback to producers
- Test equipment at the start of the day, report & manage any on-air technical issues and enact redundancy procedures to minimise disruptions to productions
- Template management of ENPS and Viz Mosart if and when required

In order to be successful for this role, you will ideally have:

- Broad understanding of television production, particularly studio operations
- Previous experience in a relevant on-air broadcast role
- A high level of computer literacy, exposure to automation software such as Viz Mosart would be highly desirable
- Experience with ENPS, or other comparable NRCS
- Ability to work highly autonomously and within a small team
- Ability to work in a fast paced, pressured live environment with a detail oriented, calm and collected manner
- Ability to work shift work at our North Sydney facility, including regular weekends and public holidays
- Tertiary qualifications/training in a relevant field
