**About the Role**
An opportunity exists for two experienced Corporate Planning and Performance Advisors to join our Corporate Planning and Performance Team. We are looking for innovative team players, who share Council’s commitment to continuous improvement and delivering effective, efficient and responsible services to our diverse communities. You will have experience in corporate planning, performance reporting, service planning and business planning processes and work to build to improve our corporate planning and performance capability across the organisation.
Being the trusted partner enabling and supporting the organisation to deliver on the commitments in the Council Plan 2021-31 (and furture Council Plans). The roles take a whole of organisation approach, building constructive working relationships, and building organisational capacity to understand and engage in Council’s vision and 10-year outcomes for the City of Port Phillip and its strategic directions..
**Duties**:

- Manage the policy document framework, policy bookcase and policy documents stakeholder committee to support the organisation in review, development and adoption of policy documents.
- Develop and support the business planning process with Head of Corporate Planning and key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage relationships across the organisation to foster a planning and performance culture.
- Provide strategic advice to the wider organisations on organisational performance, performance metrics and policy requirements.
- Supports the Senior Planning and Performance Advisor and team in the development of the Council Plan and subsequent performance reports and plans, such as the CEO Report, Annual Report etc.
- Extract, manipulate and analyse data from multiple sources using Excel or other tools to help inform decision making processes for the department and the organisation.
- Collate, manage and analyse relevant research, benchmarking and Community Satisfaction Survey results.
- Actively seek to identify improvements and innovations to planning and reporting processes and assist in implementing those improvements.

**Skills and Experience**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications related to business administration and/or business analysis and public policy, or lessor qualifications with extensive experience.
- Experience in business planning and administration in a complex, service-oriented organisation.
- Experience in corporate strategy development, corporate reporting and performance measurement.
