Retail Digital Media is considered the 3rd Wave of ‘Media’, transforming the retail landscape around the world at a rate faster than ‘Search’ (wave 1) & Social (wave 2).

To support us on our journey, we are seeking a highly skilled & motivated Retail Digital Media Manager to join our Marketing and Communications team in Rhodes, Sydney.

This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to help lead the adoption and acceleration of Retail Digital Media (RDM) across Australia and New Zealand.

**A day in the life**

As the Retail Digital Media Manager (RDM Manager), you will be responsible for working with our marketing, category and sales teams and with our external media partners to help shape the future of retail media - through joint media planning, supporting on the development of industry leading connected media plans and establishing a new way of working across the business.

A day in the life could look like:

- Consult with our marketing, category and sales teams on best-in-class connected brand and shopper media plans which build brands and drive sales
- Support our customer marketing managers on the development of joint media plans with strategic customers
- Develop & embed RDM creative & media buying best practice across all business units & customers, to drive continued improvements in investment efficiency and effectiveness
- Establish a way-of-working for agencies, sales and marketing teams as RDM continues to evolve
- Transform capability across the organisation - from playbooks, to measurement tools, to tech enablers, to facilitating the sharing of insights and best practices.
- Work with the marketing, sales and finance teams on the understanding and correct classification of RDM spend

**What will make you successful**
- Proven experience in Retail Digital Media - either in a retail digital media agency or a in supplier where you have gained this experience (in ANZ or overseas for example UK or US)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of offsite and onsite digital media - i.e. social, eRetail search, display ads, BVOD, digital screens in store
- Understanding of RDM closed loop reporting and methods to analyse and optimise spend
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and analytics platforms to track and measure campaign performance - both offsite and onsite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and engage with customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
