As he Group's asse, liabili y and equi y balances (lending, inves men s, funding ins rumen s, deriva ives e c) impac on repor ing under reasury's accoun abili y, his role provides an oppor uni y o have valuable exposure o and overview of he Group's balance shee. O her func ions prepare various repor s which are provided o an ex ernal audience (regula ors, ra ing agencies and published on NAB's ex ernal websi e) and he role of he reasury Ex ernal Repor ing is o challenge he con en of hese repor s. he reasury Ex ernal Repor ing eam covers regula ory capi al, liquidi y, opera ional risk risk-weigh ed asse s and in eres ra e risk in he banking book (IRRBB).

In his role you will focus on review of liquidi y repor ing, in par icular he liquidi y coverage ra io (LCR) and ne s able funding ra io (NSFR). Specific experience wi h liquidi y repor ing is no required, provided you have a keen in eres in how NAB's reasury func ion manages his risk and he rela ed repor ing.

Key Responsibili ies include:

- Review of quar erly liquidi y informa ion in regula ory re urns and o her ex ernal disclosures. his includes preparing reconcilia ions o o her repor ing, and presen ing a walk hrough mee ings.
- Deep dives be ween repor ing periods in o repor ed amoun s, and providing insigh s o uplif he repor ing process.
- In erpre a ion of liquidi y repor ing rea men in he even of change, such as new regula ory requiremen s or o her changes like acquisi ions or new produc offerings.

Your Skills and Experience
- As he role involves review of financial informa ion, an accoun ing background (such as qualifica ion as a CA or CPA) is preferred.
- Abili y o analyse regula ory requiremen s (such as experience wi h APRA Pruden ial and Repor ing S andards or Accoun ing S andards), and professional judgemen regarding areas ha could have differing in erpre a ions.
- Proficiency in da a in erroga ion is advan ageous, as sourcing relevan da a for inves iga ion means ha queries can be resolved independen ly ra her han on relying on inves iga ion by o hers.
- Abili y o iden ify po en ial issues and communica e/escala e as necessary.
- S rong wri en and verbal communica ion skills.
- S rong in er-personal skills in order o develop rela ionships and influence s akeholders, as well as rain, direc, mo iva e and develop more junior members of he eam.
- S rong organisa ional skills o ensure work is performed wi hin he requiremen imeframe.
- Willingness o challenge he s a us quo, iden ify weaknesses and differen ways of doing hings, and decide on areas of uplif ha are achievable.
- 5-10 years prac ical experience is an expec a ion a he associa e direc or level.
- Skills for his role may have been acquired from ex ernal audi experience wi h a professional accoun ing firm, including accoun ing experience and professional scep icism in reviewing repor s.
