We are seeking enthusiastic educators with experience in teaching Indigenous Australian students to join our sessional pool of academic tutors for our Indigenous Australian Education unit. The unit is delivered in three study modes (internal, Online and Open Universities Australia) to third-year preservice teachers. The unit is a core unit for all pre-service education students.

We are looking for educators:

- With a passionate interest in teaching and supporting pre-service teachers to successfully teach Indigenous Australian students and incorporate Indigenous perspectives into their future teaching;
- A strong understanding of contemporary Indigenous educational practice;
- A strong background in Indigenous Australian education, combining your knowledge of Indigenous pedagogy, curriculum understanding and historical and contemporary factors that impact Indigenous Australian students;
- Applicants must possess an Australian teaching qualification in either Early Childhood Education, Primary or Secondary teaching;
- Have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience;
- Preferably have experience in teaching Indigenous Australian students in more than one context.

Qualified Indigenous teachers are encouraged to apply.
