**About - THE REEaCh CENTRE (Research in Effective Education in Early Childhood)**

The REEaCh Centre, established in 2019 with support from the Leaper Foundation, aims to conduct research and engagement activities in early childhood education and care, with a focus on three priorities: improving the quality of early childhood education programs, promoting equitable access for all children to high-quality programs, and highlighting the importance of educational leadership in sustaining quality improvements in early childhood education programs.

**About the Role**

Responsibilities include:

- Develop and lead a program of research that aligns with the REEaCh Centre priorities for the fellowship and reflects the expertise of the applicant.
- Co-prepare and co-lead stakeholder engagement activities related to research projects.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will work with Professor Patricia Eadie and a team of researchers to analyze the impact of teaching quality and professional learning models on early childhood education. This is an an excellent opportunity for a talented and driven early-career researcher to make significant contributions to the field while working collaboratively in a supportive team environment.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you must possess advanced research skills, including conducting literature searches, preparing research summaries, and managing research systems. You should also have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work with research participants from diverse backgrounds and effectively communicate research findings to various audiences. You must be able to work both independently and collaboratively to meet project goals and deadlines. You should also have excellent English-language academic writing and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to contribute to teaching and learning based on their research expertise if required.

You will also have:

- PhD degree in Early Childhood Education, child development or related discipline completed in the past 5 years.
- Demonstrated expertise in the broad area of early childhood education and care, including work in one or more of the following areas, pedagogy and practice, early learning, working with educators, leaders, families and/or communities.
- Research track record commensurate with opportunity (e.g., publications in key journals, and presentations at national and international conferences) and at a post-doctoral level.
