Are you a seasoned financial professional with a passion for strategic financial management and an eagerness to make an impact in the higher education sector? We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Finance Business Partner in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences (EIS) at the University of Wollongong.

As the Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial guidance to the Faculty leadership team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting budget planning and resource allocation within the Faculty. A key focus of the role is the analytics of financial performance, proposals and initiatives identifying the risks and any mitigants across all faculty enterprise. You will be responsible for engaging with the key internal stakeholders including the Director Financial Operations and the Central Finance team to ensure the integrity of the University’s financial information and adherence to university policy and processes.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Extensive experience in financial management accounting, planning, and analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in working in a large, complex organisation would be advantageous.
