An exciting opportunity exists for a **Finance Business Partner **to join the **Illawarra Hospital Group - Northern Illawarra***

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra and Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has bed base of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

**What you'll be doing**

This position is responsible for providing financial and other support to assigned units across the District. The position reports to the Finance Manager Northern Illawarra Hospital Group and will provide advice to the Clinical Directors and Managers of the services & General Manager Northern Illawarra Hospital Hub. It will also have a professional reporting line to ISLHD Manager Financial Services and be part of the internal management reporting functions of the District.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Tertiary qualifications in accounting or related discipline and/or relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in financial principles / procedures / services and previous experience in the use of financial systems such as Oracle Financials.
- High level communication, negotiation, liaison, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the larger team within Financial Services and to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Commitment and capacity to adhere to, and provide leadership in the implementation of ISLHD CORE values, government policies and practices, including EEO, OH&S, cultural diversity, ethical practice and continuous improvement.
