Accounts Assistant

**Polycell **is a protective packaging manufacturer with branches located across Australia and New Zealand. We specialise in the production of bubblewrap and closed-cell foam products, along with a vast array of derivatives thereof.
Due to rapid business expansion, we require an accounts assistant to join our passionate team. Must be available for an immediate start.
You will be based at our Head Office located in **Kingston, QLD 4114**.
Additionally, due to our business relationships with Asian countries such as Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore, the ability to communicate in one of these dialects would be advantageous.
**Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Accounts Receivable/Payable
- General Ledger Journal and Data Entry
- Bank Reconciliations
- Preparing documentation on Monthly Business Activity Statement
- Send reminder notice and follow up outstanding accounts
- Minimum of 2 years office experience
- Book-keeping background and previous experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in data entry and management
- Attention to detail and good follow-up skills
- Team Player & Humble
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Proactive attitude and willing to learn
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Xero experience would be advantageous
- Must possess own transport
This position is **NOT** available as a work from home position.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

- Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Accounting: 2 years (preferred)

- Mandarin (preferred)
