The Team
The position of Manager, Business Continuity forms a part of the Corporate Services Group and Performance and Governance Branch. This Group works collaboratively to deliver integrated and operational functions across the department, leading the development of governance, people, culture, systems and capability.
The Role
The Manager Business Continuity provides leadership in the development of business continuity policy, critical incident management and implementation of the relevant frameworks across the department. The position will lead business continuity and critical incident coordination in collaboration with key corporate functions, and groups, as well as supporting the improvement of resilience and significant business disruption capability across the department's portfolios. The position reports to the Director Performance, Governance and Business Continuity and participates in a team that oversees whole of department systems and provides governance and performance support to the department.
This position will contribute to Corporate Services Group's overall strategic direction, ensuring that operations are aligned with the department's priorities and provide crucial leadership on key projects and programs and as a senior leader the Manager is expected to model the department's values of accountability, integrity and respect whilst investing in and developing a positive and high performing team culture.
About You
The Manager will have solid experience in managing and maintaining medium to large scale business continuity programs across complex geographically dispersed workplaces. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels across the department is a must.

**Along with this you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and maintaining of Business continuity frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with stakeholder influencing and relationship building
- Analytical and conceptual skills to identify and address emerging policy issues
- Management experience with a proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
