The Mitchell Services maintenance team is seeking a suitably qualified **Leading Hand** - **Fitter **for an immediate start in our** Dysart workshop (Central Queensland)**

To be considered, you will be:

- A trade qualified diesel fitter with Drill Rig experience - exploration fleet experience essential
- Hold a HR licence (required)
- Heavy vehicle/plant experience is highly desirable
- Able to demonstrate safety awareness and the promotion of safe work practices within a team
- You must have the right to work in Australia

The Leading Hand Fitter is responsible for:

- Lead and prioritise the daily maintenance, repair and compliance activities at the workshop and yard.
- Supervise the workshop team including contractors and sub-contractors.
- Conduct maintenance, repair, and compliance tasks
- Provide technical and physical support to sites/projects in terms of assets, maintenance & compliance matters
- Continuous improvement of the asset and maintenance functions

This position is two weeks on two weeks off FIFO of DIDO family friendly roster.
