**About the business**

Mitchell Services (MSV) is a leading provider of drilling services to the global exploration, mining, and energy industries. Mitchell Services has been operating for over 50 years and operate 100 rigs with Tier 1 clients nationwide whilst maintaining a high safety standard across our sites.

**About the Role**

We are currently hiring over multiple exploration coal sites and have rosters to match your needs Available rosters include 8 days on and 6 days off roster or 7 days on and 7 days off roster. Both rosters being day shift only This role is FIFO from any major city or DIDO within an acceptable distance.

**Duties**
- Execute the hole plan.
- Drill accurately and diligently to maximise ‘Bit on Bottom’.
- Minimise breakage and down hole loss.
- Carry out basic preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment and down hole equipment / BHA.

**Experience & qualifications**
- Current Australian HR License is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in Diamond Coring (Coal).
- Desirable experience in Mud Rotary (Coal).
- Certificate III Drilling in Operations or greater is mandatory.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessment including a drug and alcohol test.
