Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented professional with experience in project support and grant administration? We are seeking a **Project Officer, Board Secretariat and Grants** to join our dynamic team and provide key support to the **Coast Protection Board (the Board)**.

**About the Role**:
As the Project Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing professional secretariat services to the Board while managing and coordinating government grant funding programs. This position involves overseeing financial transactions related to grant funding contracts and projects, monitoring progress against milestones, preparing accurate and timely grant funding reports, and maintaining up-to-date contract registers.

You will also provide project support across a range of Coast Unit projects, contributing to the achievement of team objectives and advancing coastal protection efforts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide secretariat support to the Coast Protection Board, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and other documentation.
- Coordinate government grant funding programs, ensuring timely and accurate administration of financial transactions and monitoring of grant-funded projects.
- Prepare detailed grant funding reports and maintain up-to-date contract registers.
- Support other Coast Unit projects and activities as required, contributing to the successful delivery of team goals.

- Experience in grant administration, financial transaction management, and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Contract**:
Full Time, Ongoing

**Special Conditions**:

- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- Will be required to undertake field work in coast and marine environments; field work may include boat travel, regional and remote travel and diving.
- A current “C class" Drivers Licence is highly desirable and experience in the use of 4- wheel drive vehicles is desirable.
- A current First Aid Certificate is desirable.
- May be required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work outside of the normal hours of work.

**Remuneration**:
ASO4, $76,561 min - $80,256 max p.a.
