Position Title: Call or Contact Centre Operator

Start Date: 30/6/2023

End Date: 29/09/2023

Location: Newcastle Contact Centre - Will be working from the office

Pay Rate: $32.16 per hour + Super

Working Hours: Up to 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week

Requires Police Check: Yes

Job Requirement:

- Need excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous gov experience is preferred but not required
- Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, offering prompt and accurate assistance to ensure their needs are met.
- Utilize a comprehensive knowledge base to provide solutions, troubleshoot issues, and address concerns efficiently and effectively.
- Master our products and services to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers, boosting their confidence and satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, ensuring a smooth handover for follow-up if necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer issues, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Strive to exceed performance targets, including response times, customer satisfaction ratings, and quality assurance metrics.

The successful contractors will take part in classroom style training followed by a 'nesting' period where they will work closely with SMEs to develop their skills. After the nesting period they will be assessed to be able to work independently.

The will take part in a 5 day training session, followed by a nesting period. Once this is completed they will go into two upskill of training (9 days) followed by another nesting period where they will work independently with the assistance of their Team Leader and SME.
