Exciting opportunity for a Health Education Officer to utilise their skills to support the health and wellbeing of youth on the Central Coast.

**This recruitment may be used to fill future positions via an eligibility list for permanent, full time, part time, temporary and casual positions.**

The Health Promotion Service aims to create a Central Coast where everyone can enjoy better health and wellbeing. We do this by creating healthy places for our communities that promote good health across life’s journey. Through working together we provide information, programs and resources, and we advocate for healthy policy to ensure the foundations for good health.

The Health Promotion Officer will work to improve the health of the population of the Central Coast by contributing to work addressing population health priorities as determined by CCLHD and population health KPIs, goals and principles.

This position will take a lead role in contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of Health Promotion Projects that target secondary schools and students across the Central Coast. Some support to Primary school related projects may occur.

**About You**
- You have relevant tertiary qualifications in behavioural/population health, education, recreation or social science, alongside a current Australian Drivers License.
- You possess evidence of strong community-wide behaviour change project management skills demonstrating the ability to work with a range of key stakeholders, clearly articulate project plans and objectives, monitor performance and ensure that objectives are met.
- You have proven ability in successful and productive negotiation and partnership building with a range of organisations including Education sectors.
