**About the role**:
We are actively looking for a **Technical Sales Manager** to join the Stirling Group to provide product solutions, technical recommendations, and advice to facilitate sales growth.

We are looking to expand our customer base and sales across the eastern states of Australia. The person we are looking for has 10+ years of experience in the Timber Industry and can expertly manage, negotiate, and advise our customers at a General Manager/ Managing Director or Board Level relating to dry mills and wood machining process solutions.

Solid existing industry experience and networks are essential for this role. Your technical expertise coupled with your ability to forge strong business relationships and take ownership of the sales process will ensure your success in this role.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is ambitious, driven, has a systematic approach to managing the sales funnel, values autonomy, and enjoys challenges.

**Your skills and attributes**:

- Demonstrated experience in a dry mill, wood machinist by trade, or Wood Machinery sales will be HIGHLY REGARDED.
- Demonstrated experience in Sales will be HIGHLY REGARDED.
- Excellent client relationship management skills and strong customer focus.
- Solution driven with the ability to innovate and drive sales.
- Willingness to take ownership of tasks and deliver outcomes on a timely basis.
- Highly motivated, committed, team-focused, honest, and loyal.
- Available to travel when required across Australia.
- A current clean driver’s license is ESSENTIAL.

**What’s on offer**:

- A competitive base salary, company car allowance, superannuation, and commission for performance will be offered depending on experience and completion of the probation period.

**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
