**The Role**:
Working within this established Finance team, the role Accounts Officer will be to focus on performing the Accounts Receivable function and associated tasks.

The role entails strong communication skills as you will regularly liaise with internal and external customers (travel agents) and work as part of a team.

The focus of the role will be on debt management and investigations of debt invoices, receipting of funds, reconciliation processes and reporting duties.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Reconcile all bank statement entries daily.
- Allocate all funds received into operating system as appropriate, including but not limited to EFT Transfer, PaymentGate, Cybersource, Mint Payments, Travelpay, Zip Payments, Rezdy and adhoc Credit Card receipts.
- Reconcile and allocate on road manual payments, debtors account, outstanding debtors and reconcile short payments with a strong focus on credit control.
- Record and investigate all unidentified receipts in a timely manner and prepare and send all AAT Kings debtors invoices in a timely manner.
- Calculate, create and send all manually issued invoices to other debtors, provide relevant journals to be posted into oracle. Include but not limit to optional crew commission, overhead, intercompany debtors and other sales/marketing related joint funded campaigns.
- Process refunds in TMS, Tropics, Credit Card, Pin & chip machine (handheld terminal) and escalate and report system related issues and errors to supervisor.
- Process commission refunds, hotel concierge, TMS crew commissions, Voyages commissions & referral commissions.
- Prepare bank data in a timely manner for Assistant Account on a monthly basis.
- Work closely with the Assistant Account with any queries relating to bank reconciliation and assist with Accounts Payable functions where required.

- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role or recent graduate of Finance studies.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and interact with debtors and internal customers.
- Previous experience or understanding of end-to-end invoicing.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies and follow up with initiative.
- Computer literate with Intermediate experience and understanding of Excel such as V Look Ups & Pivot Tables.
- Experience in Oracle, Tropics and TMS would be highly regarded but not essential.
