**About the role**

As **Client Relationship Officer, Equity Custody **and reporting to the Manager Equity Custody, you are part of a high performing, well established team that resides in the Corporate Trust division of Sandhurst Trustees, responsible for the provision of settlement and custody services for funds management products. The position combines custody and investment administration for various in-house equity products including the Sandhurst Industrial Share Fund and those managed by external corporate clients.

Key accountabilities include:

- Facilitation of accurate and timely settlements for equities, unit trusts, derivatives, fixed interest and cash securities, maintenance of asset registers, recording and notification of corporate actions, collection and recording of income, reconciliation of assets, client billing and compliance with relevant legislation and client mandates.
- Provision of a high level of client servicing for both internal and external requests and queries.
- Work closely with a range of stakeholders including Sandhurst Trustees Limited, OPS, Risk & Compliance and Call Connection.

**This a 6 month fixed term opportunity based at our Docklands Melbourne Office.**

**We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement with the expectation employees are in the office 2 days per week.**

**About you**

To be successful you will have:

- Qualifications in Banking, Finance, Business, Securities desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience in banking and finance with specific understanding of securities and cash payment systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of share settlement processes and general custody requirements.
- Knowledge of industry systems such as Chess, Austraclear and Garradin Portfolio Management System will be an advantage.
- Strong computer skills with fast and accurate data input ability (Word & Excel).
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work as part of high performing and supportive team environment.
