**The Role**
We are seeking two APS 5 Contract Management and Procurement Officers who will be accountable under broad direction to undertake complex and sensitive contract management and procurement activities.

Activities include (but are not limited to):

- Drafting contract documentation such as notices, change proposals, reports, survey and quotes, standard operating procedures and plans;
- Maintaining contract records including monitoring, tracking and reporting on contract deliverables, performance and data items;
- Assisting with procurement planning, tendering and contract formation activities ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, Defence processes and procedures; and
- Coordinating and providing representation at meetings.

**About our Team**
The team provides valuable capability support to Defence by ensuring the ongoing availability of fuels, oils and lubricants to Defence assets both in country and overseas. We strategically procure products into the Joint Logistics Command warehouse network and arrange direct delivery of product to assets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a dynamic team environment;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- An ability to achieve deadlines and manage competing priorities;
- A demonstrated ability in building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders;
- High-level customer service skills to ensure customers receive prompt and reliable advice; and
- A demonstrated financial analysis and pricing management is highly desirable but not essential.
