The Associate Director - WCP is critical to making this happen and will:

- Provide through-the-cycle enablement support to the program delivery teams
- Independently project manage required risk, compliance and regulatory approvals, helping to navigate obstacles and move at speed through the process
- Building an in-depth understanding of the internal and external regulatory approval processes for wholesale credit management and cloud migration to support a smooth cloud journey
- Provide expert, hands-on assistance in the preparation of artefacts for regulatory submissions in tandem with the program team
- Promote the importance of risk management and consideration of regulatory requirements, including embedded controls within the design of the solution
- Proactive monitoring of the risk environment and ensuring issues, events and incidents are raised, escalated and managed in a timely manner
- Ensure emerging issues/roadblocks are identified and escalated
- Contribute to the development of a BAU operating model to support the delivered platform

The Wholesale Credit Platform (WCP) program’s mission is to deliver a unified, configurable cloud-based Wholesale Credit Management platform for ANZ. This is a high-profile program that is a key contributor to the bank’s stated strategy to build out enterprise services that are best-in-class and can be used by multiple parts of the enterprise and potentially be offered to external customers.

You will be part of a dynamic, collaborative program team of technology and business professionals that works together in an agile way to define and deliver on our platform strategy. You will work collaboratively with across key partners to ensure the overall strategy and individual deliverables are delivered in a sound and timely manner.

You will be responsible for providing risk, data and compliance support to the WCP delivery team covering internal requirements and external regulation, contemplation of risk management within designed solutions, and enabling completion of mandatory risk-related artefacts in a timely manner.

- Strong understanding of project/program delivery and related requirements
- Experience of operational risk and/or compliance management, preferably in financial services
- Understanding of the wholesale credit management lifecycle and regulation is highly desirable
- Ability to operate independently, taking personal accountability for planning and delivering to a high standard and within agreed timelines.
- A thirst to learn and grow yourself
- A team player who likes to work collaboratively to achieve outcomes
- Exceptional stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
