**Your new role**

As the Student Experience Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving student engagement and facilitating connections between our students and national resilience and security government, academic and industry stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a greenfield initiative, where your creativity and passion will contribute to shaping the future of student experiences within our faculty.

**Key duties and responsibilities include**:

- **Collaborate** closely with Curtin’s National Resilience & Security (NRAS) Program Office, to work closely with defence, national security and space market partners to identify opportunities for student engagement and involvement.
- **Develop** and implement innovative strategies to connect students with these industry professionals, contractors, and relevant organisations.
- **Organise** events, workshops, and networking sessions to enhance students' understanding of this sector and potential career pathways.
- **Provide** personalised support and guidance to students interested in pursuing opportunities in this sector, including internships, projects, and employment prospects.
- **Maintain **strong relationships with industry stakeholders to ensure ongoing collaboration and support for student initiatives.
- **Monitor** and evaluate the effectiveness of student engagement activities, implementing improvements as needed.
