The Grocery, Convenience, and other Retail Verticals are high-priority sectors with significant growth potential. The purpose of this role is to drive the expansion of Menulog's business in various retail segments in Australia and New Zealand. The main focus is to increase Menulog's market penetration and share by developing relationships with key corporate accounts and optimising their performance.

**All about the role**:
In this role, we're counting on you to:
**Secure business with key accounts to grow Menulog’s retail business**
- Develop and execute sales plan for different retail segments
- Size up the addressable market
- Identify and prioritise target prospects
- Develop business with head office accounts
- Negotiate terms and deliver favourable commercial outcomes
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding process to go live.

**Optimise the performance and engagement of Menulog’s key retail accounts**
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers
- Collaborate to develop and implement effective joint business plans
- Provide category-specific recommendations, including product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotional plans
- Plan, execute and evaluate marketing campaigns
- Lead contract negotiations and manage compliance
- Provide accurate sales forecasts
- Track performance and provide regular reports.

**Collaborate and influence to secure the support needed to be effective**

Build strong relationships cross functional and with global stakeholders

Communicate and secure alignment on the sales strategy

Create compelling business cases for sales initiatives

Collaborate on budgeting and resource allocation

Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates

Foster a collaborative culture.

**Can you deliver**

Ready to take the lead? Here is what we need from you:

- At least 3 years of experience at a National Sales Manager level or above
- A track record of successfully working with tier one retailers (e.g. Woolworth Group, Endeavour Group, Chemist Warehouse, Petbarn etc.)
- Retail quick commerce experience is a bonus
- Key attributes: driven, self motivated, resilient, result oriented, entrepreneurial, resourceful, flexible, passionate and professional
- Tertiary degree qualification in a relevant field (Business / Marketing) preferred.

This role has the flexibility to be either Sydney or Melbourne based.
