**The Opportunity**:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Logistics Officer to join our hard-working team based in Bibra Lake 6163.

As the Vehicle Logistics Officer, you’ll play a vital role as the first point of contact for our waste drivers and customers to assist with any queries. This role will require you to ensure all drivers are able to perform their duties in a safe manner to deliver on our clients requirements.

The purpose of this role is to not only schedule routes for drivers but strategically plan to increase productivity and exceed client expectations.

- Proactive and reactive role

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Coordinating hazardous waste deliveries/collections to maximise run efficiency
- Communicate accurate and timely information to all stakeholders
- Proactively review route performance to identify route optimisation and improvement opportunities
- Respond to customer issues that are of immediate operational concern with a solutions focus
- Champion health and safety for all team members
- Oversee driver fatigue management

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- A background in logistics highly desirable
- Understanding of heavy vehicles and scheduling advantageous
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong people skills, including a strong ability to communicate and negotiate
- Advanced computer skill
- Strong time management skill
- Cert IV in Logistics or Cert III in Waste Management (desired)
