**About the Department for Correctional Services**
The Department employs approximately 2,000 staff and has responsibility for nine prisons and sixteen Community Correctional offices across the state. **Duties**
The Community Corrections Prosecutions Officer is responsible for assisting with the delivery of prosecution services on behalf of Community Corrections. The incumbent is responsible for the delivery of high-quality services, which includes adjudication and preparation of briefs and presentation of prosecution cases in court.

**Special Conditions**
Section 47 of the Public Sector Act 2009 applies in conjunction with other provisions of the act and other applicable industrial entitlements.
The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check.
A current South Australian Driver’s Licence is essential.
A flexible approach to working hours is required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences.
The incumbent is required to work independently, autonomously and with limited direct supervision.

**Additional Information**
This is a temporary vacancy for up to 12 months with possible extension.
This position is located at the Elizabeth Magistrates Court and is required to actively prosecute matters in Court in behalf of DCS.
It is a requirement for any non-ongoing DCS employees to be fully vaccinated with a Therapeutic Goods Administration approved COVID-19 vaccination**.**
