About the role

Based at Calvary Central Districts Hospital at Elizabeth Vale, the Patient Services Officer is integral to the front end services of our patients including admission in areas such as Day of Surgery, Main Reception and the Cancer Centre. Consideration will be given to full-time and part-time applicants. This role is generally required Monday to Friday (business days) however the occasional Saturday may be required. Furthermore, shifts are usually 6am to 2pm, 7am to 3pm and 10am to 6pm (no 'school hour' shifts are available.

**Your main duties will include**:
Greeting and directing patients and their families

Admitting patients into the hospital including all mandated paperwork and payments

Providing outstanding professional and friendly service to our stakeholders and patients.

**About you**:
Previous medical experience in a practice or hospital

Excellent communication skills

Excellent experience with computer systems
