A local government authority located in the north-western suburbs is looking for a Community Safety Officer on a temporary basis.
- This position is responsible for improving community wellbeing and safety, by fulfilling regulatory obligations through education and enforcement. They key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

- Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs to increase awareness and protect public health and safety
- Provide technical advice to the public on community safety matters
- Process and issue expiation notices for breaches of relevant legislation
- Accurate, timely and appropriate management of customer enquiries via the Customer Request System, in line with legislative and Council requirements
- Provide efficient, prompt and accurate customer information services either in person, via the telephone or by correspondence.

**About You**:

- First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- A TGA approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine
- Seasonal Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
- Current Class 1 Drivers License
