Our client is a well established accounting firm of 25+ years located in the CBD. They are known for their specialist accounting advisory services and are well respected in the industry.

**The Role**

An opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant to join the team. This is an excellent entry level opportunity to launch or build upon your professional career. Full training is provided.

Your duties will involve providing administration support to Senior Accountants. This is
**not** a Reception or Personal Assistant role.

**Must** be a permanent resident and or citizen to apply

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing client engagement letters
- Opening online job folders
- Drafting various correspondence
- Lodging online forms with government agencies
- Drafting meeting agendas and minutes
- Booking meeting venues
- Editing and formatting various correspondence
- Corresponding with various statutory bodies and banking institutions
- Printing and mailing reports to stakeholders
- Opening and closing bank accounts
- Preparing payment vouchers
- Preparing banking receipt vouchers
- Conducted searches of various online databases
- Liaising with various 3rd parties inc. banks and various government agencies (ATO, ASIC, etc)
- Updating / maintaining job databases
- Other ad-hoc duties

**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum HSC qualification
- Good computer skills (including Microsoft Word & Excel)
- A good work ethic and friendly personality
- Prior office work experience desirable
