We’re looking for an experienced and confident Continuous Improvement professional to facilitate improvement initiatives across our NSW & ACT Donor Centres. In this role, you will develop constructive relationships to deliver business outcomes and build continuous improvement capability throughout the NSW/ACT area by delivering regular coaching & support. You will do this using a standardised continuous improvement framework to enable aligned work processes and business outcomes that support our strategic objectives. These being the s ufficient and safe provision of blood, plasma and biological products and services to meet demand and give confidence to government and community, and creating a movement where biological donation is a recognised, respected, widespread part of our Australian identity.
Your purpose will be to bring a sense of curiosity to drive and champion improvement initiatives that add value to our donors, teams and recipients. You will partner with the business and collaborate with your Donor Centre teams to bring expertise in Lean & Continuous Improvement to enable Lifeblood to achieve best results.
Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for;
In-depth understanding of Lean thinking, behaviours and practice. Not just an awareness but experienced practitioner with confidence in delivery.
Strong analytical skills and use of data tools to inform decision-making
Ability to communicate, collaborate with and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
Lean accreditation such as Six Sigma would be desirable, but knowledge of its actual implementation and practice is key
This is a permanent full-time opportunity -76 hours a fortnight however we are open for part-timers (with work requirement of 4 days a week).
The role location is flexible and could work from home or be based at our Sydney Processing Centre, Alexandria however frequent and regular travelling to Donor Centres within ACT & NSW region is an expectation.
