**_What you’ll be doing_**

This is an exciting role that provides opportunity to work across a diverse stakeholder group at all levels within the health system to drive better outcomes for cancer patients. In this role, you will drive the delivery of system improvement program strategies, activities and infrastructure, engaging and collaborating within the Cancer Institute NSW and with key external stakeholders.

You will be tasked with ensuring that the design and implementation of programs such as Reporting for Better Cancer Outcomes (RBCO) and other system improvement and clinician engagement activities are delivered to ensure maximum benefit to the cancer control community.

To be successful you will have experience in leading and managing teams, providing clear direction, coaching and support as well as manage finite resources to achieve business outcomes. You will have a focus on ensuring continuous improvement and quality control in all aspects of the program are achieved, e.g. with the production of clinical performance reports.

Your skills as an innovator with the ability to promote and encourage the use of evidence-based outcomes to identify and drive necessary change to deliver planned benefits is essential.

You will have demonstrated experience in dealing with diverse stakeholders both internal and external along with the ability engage and influence to achieve outcomes. You will have exceptional communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work and lead a team under pressure.

**_Essential requirements_**
- Experience in relationship management across sectors and disciplines, preferably in a health context and extensive experience working with clinicians.
- Expertise in project and program management and change management methodology.
- Tertiary qualifications in health-related disciplines.

- Provide an example of a complex health program you have managed and led successfully to completion. Describe how your skills contributed to the program’s success and achieving health system change, and how you led the team to deliver on this program. Highlight any challenges and how you overcame them.
- Describe your experience in using data and information of variable quality and completeness to engage and lead clinicians and to drive improved patient outcomes in the healthcare environment. Highlight any challenges and how you overcame them.
