**Where you’ll be working**
You will be working with a diverse and dynamic team within the System Performance Support Branch, System Sustainability and Performance Division and based at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards, NSW 2065. The System Performance Support Branch has the lead role in monitoring the performance of health services by working in close partnership with health service executives, senior managers and clinicians as well as other parts of the Ministry and pillar organisations.

**About the Role**
The NSW Health Whole of Health Program (WOHP) Performance Support Lead is responsible for state-wide coordination and performance support to the WOHP sites and facilities. This will assist the WOHP to lead and support health reform through the achievement of the health systems performance measures.

This role supports the development and implementation of an effective support framework that promotes innovation, best practice and delivery of local change management projects, which improve patient flow and access to care. In addition, this role will work closely with System Management Branch and other key areas that provide data and analytic platforms. The role will lead and manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of specialised projects to improve operational performance with the support of data and analytics.

**Selection Criteria**
- Tertiary qualifications in health or clinical management, qualifications in process improvement with demonstrated operational and service improvement for acute hospitals.
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management including management of multiple concurrent projects and the implementation of state-wide and local innovative change management approaches.
- Proven ability to successfully manage and lead performance programs for multidisciplinary teams in a large and complex health system using strategic initiatives and appropriate resources.
- Experience in driving Key Performance Indicator improvement through project and program management.
- Proven analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports to deal with challenges creatively and achieve efficient and effective solutions.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication, interpersonal, facilitation, consultation, engagement, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in fostering a strong team culture, a collaborative approach to achieving deliverables and working effectively in high performing teams and organisation.
