The **Accounts Assistant **will be responsible for undertaking a range of accounts payable, accounts receivable and month end tasks as part of the Shared Service Finance team.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
Accounts Receivable
- Bank and various Online Billing reconciliations.
- Receipting and allocating EFT/BPay funds as per bank statements.
- Produce and distribute monthly statements.

Accounts Payable
- Processing of end to end Accounts Payable across all business units, ensuring. invoices are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with supplier queries.
- Prepare, upload and finalise payment runs.

General Duties
- Process and manage intercompany transactions through both AR and AP.
- Weekly and monthly detailed account analysis and reconciliation.
- Assist Financial Accounting Team in month-end closing such as preparing journal entries.
- Month end Ad-hoc assistance for GL and Balance sheet reconciliation.
- Bank Reconciliation & Prepayment account management.

**Qualifications**:
Now let’s talk about you:

- Minimum 1-2 years of Accounts Assistant or Junior Accounting experience.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance (highly preferred).
- Teamplayer - great with working with teams and at times, leading teams.
- Finance Skills - proven ability to prepare reconciliations and problem solve.
- Attention to Detail - thorough and accurate in work preparation.
- Communication Skills - excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Stakeholder management - proven ability to manage stakeholders.
- Well Organised - ability to work under pressure, prioritise and manage own workload.
