- Manage the Policy, Legislation and Approvals team to provide high level support and customer service in legislative delegations, policy research and development, legislative review and reform and the administration of approvals for activities in the State Road reservation.We are a diverse and inclusive workplace that understands the importance of flexibility. **Duties**:

- Manage and support the Policy, Legislation and Approvals team to ensure:

- the delivery of the road status proclamation work program, and
- the timely provision of quality advice regarding various legislative and policy matters.
- Primary responsibility for the approval of temporary community event sign permits.
- Support key stakeholders such as the Commissioner for Transport, General Manager State Roads, Branch heads and legislative Delegates with:

- review of relevant legislation, including coordinating Divisional responses and progressing legislative amendments,
- research, analysis and the provision of sound policy advice, proposals and recommendations,
- the development of agreements, deeds and other similar documents, in accordance with agency processes.
- Oversee the administration of Ministerial and Transport Commission delegations under relevant legislation, including ensuring these are up-to-date and relevant processes are followed.

**Desirable Requirements**:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
